Company Profile
Prenco Equipment (now trading as Prenco Environmental) was established as a family partnership business in 1961 and was subsequently incorporated to a Pty Ltd Company in February, 1975. It has operated as a distributor, manufacturers’ agent and importer of products and machinery and is based in Adelaide, South Australia. Prenco has sourced and introduced a number of new and innovative products and technology into the Australian marketplace during the company’s 45 year history.
An opportunity for Prenco to move into the expanding area of environment technology was presented in 1996. A new Absorbent from the USA, was being introduced into the Australian market as an “environmentally conscious” solution for oil spill clean up and Prenco began distributing the product in SA. Prenco has undergone major growth since that modest start offering a very comprehensive range of locally produced products equal to any imported alternatives. These absorbents occupy a unique niche in the marketplace, combining an effective initial clean up, with an option for environmentally safe bio-active disposal, all in a competitively priced Australian made product. Prenco expanded to larger premises in April, 2000 to cope with increasing sales, client base and product range as well as the development of the Spill Response Training program. Prenco also has a network of distributors and partners in each State and therefore is able to offer those comprehensive services across Australia.

Educational Assistance
Prenco is committed to support of environmental education programmes and has been a part of joint community and business education programs run by the SA EPA. KESAB, Business SA, Catchment Water Management Boards and numerous local councils.

Meet the Team.....
Trevor Prentice
Trevor has 36 years experience in the consultation and supply of products and expertise to industry and government agencies. His ability to anticipate new technology growth areas, has enabled Prenco to be successful and instrumental in the development and introduction of these new innovations. The development and conducting of the Spill Response Training Program is also Trevor's responsibility along with the general operations of the business.
Neal Smith
Neal joined Prenco in mid 2009 after thirty years in the Fire and Safety Industry in Australia and overseas working for large Corporate Company’s with high profiles and is a volunteer Fire Fighter and spent six years in the Ambulance Service in Scotland.
Neal’s previous experience compliments the Prenco team and adds a wealth of knowledge to Prenco’s portfolio of Industry standards, Regulations and Product knowledge Information.
As Sales Manager, Neal is responsible for day to day Sales, Site Audits and Training and has a personal goal to always provide Quality Products, High Standards of customer service that would be second to none.
Kerryn Lyall
Kerryn is our administrative person who looks after the office management and all the necessary paperwork for orders and sales. She is a wizz at producing all the sales brochures and when things get busy in the warehouse, has no hesitation in getting on the forklift or packing goods for despatch when the boys are out. (Experience from the Army days!)
Kerryn is competent in training and has completed Certificate III in Workplace Training and Assessment, so she can instruct in how to use your Prenco Spill Kit to the best advantage.
Bill & Ken "The Service Men"
Just as important as "the Boss" are our service team of Ken and Bill. They are responsible for all aspects of product movements and take pride in making sure the Spill Kits are built to the highest quality and orders leave the premises on time and secure.
Our Spill Kit Service Program is also conducted by Ken and he is regularly "on-site" making sure the kits are cleaned and re-stocked in readyness for a spill event.
